Privacy Policy

How Sadara collects, uses and protects the personal information you share with us through this website.

Introduction

Last updated:

SARL SADARA FOR OIL AND GAS (“Sadara”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you provide through this website.

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who else receives it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you. It applies to sadaraog.com in all three of its languages.

Information you give us

When you send an enquiry, request a quotation or register an interest in a programme, we record the details you enter. Depending on the form, these may include: your name, company, email address, telephone number, job title, country and city, your enquiry or message, and — for training enquiries — the programme, level, format, language, preferred dates and number of participants you are asking about. For project enquiries they may also include the service, industry, project name, project location and timeframe.

You choose what to enter. Only the fields marked as required are needed for us to reply.

Information collected automatically

When a form is submitted we also record the page it was sent from, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. These are kept as a record of the submission and to limit automated abuse of our forms; we do not use them to build a profile of you.

Cookies and measurement

This website can use the services below to understand how its pages are found and used. None of them runs, and none of these cookies is set, unless you choose “Accept” on the notice shown on your first visit. If you choose “Decline”, or make no choice, no measurement cookie is placed.

You can change your decision at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which restores the notice on your next visit.

Two of the services are operated by companies outside Algeria — Google (Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager) and Meta (the Meta Pixel) — and information collected through them is processed on their infrastructure under their own terms.

The three cookies beginning _tccl and _scc are placed by our hosting provider through a script it adds to every page for its own performance monitoring. They fall outside the consent notice because they are added after the pages leave our control, and they are not used by Sadara.

How we use your information

To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, deliver the services or training you request, keep a record of our correspondence, limit automated abuse of our forms, and — where you have agreed — to measure how this website is found and used.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

The basis on which we process it

We process the details you submit because they are necessary to answer you and to take steps you have asked for before entering into a contract. We process measurement data only with your consent, which you give or withhold through the notice described above and may withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

We do not apply a fixed deletion date to enquiry records. They are kept for as long as they remain useful for the purposes described above — answering you, preparing quotations, delivering what you asked for, and keeping a record of our correspondence — and you may ask us to delete yours at any time, as set out under Your rights below. Measurement data is retained for the periods shown in the table above, which are set by the providers of those services.

Who else receives it

Your enquiry details are seen by Sadara staff who need them to answer you. They are stored on our hosting provider's servers as part of operating this website. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties, except where it is necessary to deliver a service you have requested, or where we are required to disclose it by applicable law.

Where you have consented to measurement, the providers named in the table above receive data about your visit directly through your browser.

Information security

Sadara implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to help protect personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure or misuse. The database holding enquiry records is not reachable over the web, access to the administration area requires an individual account, and passwords are stored only as irreversible hashes.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to our use of it. Where our use rests on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting what was done beforehand.

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details on our contact page. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date. Where a change materially affects how we use your information, we will make that clear.

Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy, or requests concerning your personal information, may be sent to Sadara using the details on our contact page.
